Peter + Arianne's Engagement

Congrats to Peter & Arianne, a vibrant and fun-loving couple! We shot this set at one of my favorite spots, Brooklyn Heights. I purposely backlit several of the shots to give that romantic fill to the frame. We took the liberty to return to their proposal spot at Brooklyn Bridge Park, and without much direction, they reenacted their memorable moment. I snapped a few quiet moments, and it turned out PERFECT. Loved it, guys!

Fifty Seven Chevy, Brooklyn

Here's a tribute to one of my favorite period automobiles of all time. The Fifty Seven Chevy heralded a boy-toy flamboyance of a prosperous era, when youthful souls began to challenge the norms of the American design aesthetic. Nowadays, when we consider a 'shark fin', the most we're capable of considering as tasteful would be some aerodynamic 2" antenna on a BMW 3-series. What a joke.

This jolly green giant's been parked at the gas pump across from Grimaldi's for years now. It looks like it could use a little work, but next time you're at the Brooklyn Promenade, get on the tarmac and inspect the undercarriage. Beyond the rusty chassis lies the glimmering chrome of a brand new set of headers.

Looks like whoever owns this sucker takes it to the races.
