I recall my childhood weekends in New York City holding my father's classy 1982 Nikon FG camera. The leather trim wore out nicely and the viewfinder kept tack sharp. Those darkroom days were fun to remember, until the sad day my shutter gave its last breath. I shelved my 35mm, grew some facial hair, got a Cornell architecture degree, and worked with some fascinating architects for some time. Yet my passion for photography persisted. Eventually I returned to the tool I grew up with, the tool that helped me frame my world.

I'm inspired by good design, the four seasons, contemplative commutes, beautiful light, Mediterranean cities, stories of redemption, and my love, Soo.
